Taiwan's 3G Mobile looks for fundsdate: April 15, 2002 3G Mobile Network is planning to raise capital from foreign telecom providers and domestic TV operators as well as web portal PC Home Online to fund the launch of its 3G mobile service. The company, which holds a Taiwanese 3G license, said it plans to hold investment talks with telecom providers Orange, Telstra, and unnamed US and Japanese providers. It is thought that VoiceStream and DoCoMo will be involved in the talks to some degree. SH Hsu, chairman, 3G Mobile, said that his company has asked several internet and media companies to invest in his company because these companies can contribute important information on 3G services.
