TI introduces new development kit for OMAP wireless processors

Innovator Development Kit Fastest Route for Software Designers to Create, Demonstrate 2.5G, 3G Applications that Support Popular Mobile Operating Systems Using TI's OMAP Processors

Wireless software developers and device manufacturers will be able to create and showcase innovative applications on a sleek, versatile development kit from Texas Instruments. The new Innovator Development Kit for OMAP processing platform will allow wireless software developers to easily port high-performance applications to TI´s widely adopted family of OMAP application processors, and reduces time to market for device manufacturers to deliver 2.5G and 3G mobile phones. Symbian OS is one of the first operating systems to be supported, extending the Innovator kit´s capabilities to software developers and mobile phone manufactures developing on Symbian OS.
