Sweden's gov no plans to change 3G conditionsdate: April 29, 2002 The Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency has no plans to change its conditions for the building of third generation (3G) wireless telephony networks in Sweden, according to the agency's mobile services manager Hans Brandstrom. Brandstrom, who was talking to the Swedish news service Direkt, said the agency recently met the four operators that have been awarded 3G licences in Sweden - Tele2, Orange Sweden, Europolitan Vodafone and Hi3G - and that nothing came up during the meeting to indicate that their network construction projects would not be ready at the end of December 2003. The Post and Telecom Agency plans to meet the operators, together with representatives of Swedish municipalities, on 16 May and possibly one more time later, Brandstrom noted.
