Datang selects RADCOM for 3G monitoring solution

August 10, 2004

RADCOM, a network test and quality management solutions provider, announced that Datang Telecom Technology, has selected the Cellular Performer system for mobile data services testing. Datang Telecom Technology is a telecommunications integrator and equipment supplier headquartered in Bejing, China. They use the Cellular Performer to monitor the performance of mobile subscriber services provisioned over TD-SCDMA based networks.

The Cellular Performer is a system solution that monitors the performance of Radio Access, Core Signaling and Core IP network components. By detecting network errors and abnormal session/call scenarios, it significantly decreases troubleshooting time and expense.

"We are pleased with the performance of the RADCOM solution. It provides us with the data necessary to develop, deploy and troubleshoot sophisticated mobile communications equipment and services," said Mr. Zhang Xing Sheng, General Manager, System Test Department at Datang Mobile.

"RADCOM is honored to be Datang's choice for 3G service performance monitoring," said Hanan Klainer, RADCOM's VP of Sales. "They are a major player in China's mobile industry and we are pleased to provide them with the leading-edge test technology they require."
