Chinese manufacturer chooses RADCOM's 3G test solution

August 26, 2004

RADCOM, a network test and quality management solutions provider, announced that a major Chinese communications equipment manufacturer has purchased the Cellular Performer solution. The Cellular Performer is being used for R&D testing of W-CDMA mobile data network devices and systems. W-CDMA is a 3G mobile wireless technology that enables mobile wireless devices to perform at much higher data speeds than is generally available in today's market.

The Cellular Performer enables customers to examine cellular data from both a network and a session perspective. The end-to-end call flow visibility it provides enables easy troubleshooting of signaling problems, performance and network capacity issues.

"RADCOM is pleased to support China's 3G network development efforts," said Hanan Klainer, RADCOM's VP of Sales. "This win underscores customer satisfaction with our cellular solutions, our agility in new protocol support implementations, and our growing presence in the important Asia-Pacific market."
