HP launches iPAQ rw6100, the first CDMA-WLAN based PDA phone

HP brings out iPAQ rw6100 series, the first PDA phones providing CDMA service in September.
HP Korea and KT released Wednesday HP iPAQrw6100 series in Korea for KT NESPOT Swing service which combines wireless LAN and cdma2000 1x EV-DO.
The iPAQ rw6100 series are the first multimedia PDA phones based on CDMA platform that HP introduces to the Korean market.
The new release provides wireless connection to KTF CDMA 1x EV-DO data network so that users can surf the web, watch TV through KTF multimedia service Fimm and VOD on a wide screen.
The device adopts Intel CPU PXA270 Bulverde 520MHz and Korean version of Microsoft Windows mobile 2003 Second Edition.
Rick Roesler, vice president of HP handheld division said, "The demand for handsets with enhanced data communication and multimedia function is expected to steadily rise. HP will introduce communication devices that accumulate and show off qualities only HP can present"
