Motorola select Dilithium AnswerFast Plus for 3G devices
August 25, 2005
Dilithium Networks announced that Motorola has licensed Dilithium's AnswerFast Plus technology. AnswerFast Plus technology reduces video call session set-up time to less than one second, which is comparable to voice calls. Motorola plans to integrate the AnswerFast Plus technology into select 3G mobile devices.
AnswerFast Plus was developed in response to mobile operators' strong desire to reduce session call set-up times. The result of this enhancement is significant improvements in the customer experience for video calling, and reduction in wasted network overhead.
"We are pleased to work with Motorola to develop solutions that promote enhanced 3G services and improved customer experience." said Paul Zuber, Chief Executive Officer of Dilithium Networks. "Motorola is an established leader in 3G and has chosen AnswerFast Plus to help enable the ultimate 3G video telephony experience for their customers and consumers."
