Voxpilot supports streaming servers for 3G video delivery

August 9, 2006

The latest version of Voxpilot's Open Media Platform has been significantly enhanced to support multimedia content delivery solutions including Helix Mobile Server from Real and Darwin Streaming Server from Apple. Through standards-based VoiceXML, Voxpilot customers can now effortlessly deliver multimedia content, live mobile TV, and video surveillance applications on existing circuit-switched 3G mobile networks and next-generation 3GPP IMS networks.

In parallel, Voxpilot has launched a new CCXML OEM product offering for network equipment providers. The Voxpilot CCXML Interpreter can be integrated into existing telephony platforms to allow external application developers to readily access complex features of the telephony platform in a straightforward, open standard fashion. Like VoiceXML, CCXML employs Web technologies to enable re-use of standard Web servers and developer skills and to facilitate seamless integration with modern Service Oriented Architectures (SOA). The development of the Voxpilot CCXML Interpreter comes on the back of 120 man-years of experience creating world-class mark-up language interpreters.

"We are very proud of the results that we have obtained with our latest version. OMP 3.0 makes it seamless for users to deliver multimedia content in a circuit switched or an IMS environment" comments Gilles Meyer, CEO of Voxpilot.

You can experience OMP's new enhancements on the Voxpilot booth 410 at SpeechTEK in NY. We will be demonstrating OMP 3.0 with live examples of multimedia content delivery over IP.
