phones 4u to sell Hutchison 3G handsets

Hutchison 3G UK and phones 4u today announced that phones 4u will
be a major retail partner when Hutchison 3G UK begins rolling out
3G mobile multimedia and communications services under the 3 brand.
The fastest-growing mobile phone retailer in the UK, phones 4u
will sell 3G handsets and promote 3 products and services in all
of its 325 shops across the UK. Contract terms were not disclosed.
As the UK’s first commercial 3G service, 3 will deliver live video
calls, digital mapping and advanced satellite location-based services,
exclusive mobile video clips of Premier League football highlights,
music, games, news and finance. The company is taking prospective
customer pre-registration details at 3's website, where prospective
customers can explore a ‘sneak preview’ of what will be on offer,
fill out an online questionnaire to define their personal preferences
and register with 3 to receive progress updates. Additionally, prospective
customers will be able to pre-register at phones 4u's website.
Anthony Catterson, Managing Director of phones 4u, said: “We are
