Motorola selects ORGA's 3G test equipment
December 17, 2002
Motorola will use ORGA's new IT3 Test Platform for the development
and testing of its GSM and 3G mobile handsets.
ORGA's IT3 Test Platform is the next generation of test equipment
that offers handset and smart card manufacturers the ability to
perform in-house development and testing.
According to Rich Martinez, Business Development Manager, "The
biggest advantage of the IT3 Test Platform is an accelerated time
to market. Developers can test and debug their products before they
are submitted for official certification and release to the market."
The IT3 Test Platform allows the developer to perform various types
of testing that include, type approval testing, SIM Application
toolkit testing, and interoperability testing. Using different configurations
of the IT3 Test Platform you can monitor the communication between
a smart card and mobile handset, and emulate smart cards to test
mobile handsets.
The ORGA IT3 Platform is separated into modules, which include
the Smart Card Monitor, the Digital Smart Card Simulator, and the
Analog Smart Card Simulator.
