NVIDIA processors in newest 3G phones

NVIDIA Corporation, an expert in graphics and digital media processors, announced that two 3G carriers with operations in Europe and Japan have chosen Motorola phones based on the NVIDIA GoForce 4000. The Motorola E1000, V980 and C980, all featuring the GoForce 4000 wireless media processor (WMP), are available in stores throughout Europe and Japan now

"Motorola's customers are looking for best in class 3G products which suit the needs and demands of consumers," said Bill Werner, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Motorola 3G Products. "The GoForce 4000 enables all the digital imaging and entertainment features consumers want to experience, while preserving critical talk time."

"The adoption of 3G throughout the world will be the catalyst for the deployment of rich multimedia content across cell phones," said Glenn Schuster, general manager, wireless media processors, NVIDIA Corporation.
