Huawei releases 1xEV-DO Rev. A end-to-end commercial solution

Huawei Technologies announced that it shows its CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev. A end-to-end commercial solution including DO Rev. A terminal EC360, which enables users to receive/send at a high speed data rate of 3.1 Mbps on the forward link and 1.8 Mbps on the reverse link.

Huawei's CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev. A, is a commercial solution which provides operators with a future-oriented, high-performance and profitable full-service platform, supporting abundant services such as VoIP, wireless broadband access, and streaming media.

The service flow-based mechanism of CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev. A solution, allows distinguished dispatching for voice flow, video flow and normal data flow that ensures a high quality subscriber experience with VT services. Huawei's CDMA2000 BTS technologies reduce power consumption by 44%, and power amplification efficiency is increased up to 33%.

Mr. Liqun Cai, President of Huawei's CDMA Product Line, said; "High-speed data access and multiple service provision is becoming a new revenue source for operators. Huawei's CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev. A end-to-end commercial solution advances the network bandwidth, capacity, and the QoS guarantee while saving customers' total investment cost so that they can construct a future-oriented, high-performance and profitable full-service network."
