MTC launches 3G in Namibia

MTC officially launched 3G HSDPA in Namibia at a function in the Windhoek Country Club. Offering speeds of up to 900kb per second (possible, not promised), MTC has the fastest Internet connection in Namibia at prices that are comparable anywhere.
There are currently three types of packages on offer which will be expanded upon in the New Year: Pay as you use, 3G lite (for those users that currently have a computer) offering a 3G device, and 3G Plus with a device and a laptop computer. Pricing for this starts at N$489 per month.
