Chunghwa TeMalaysia calls for 3G commentslecom to spend NT$20-30 billion

The Malaysian Communication and Multimedia has released the Market Plan for public comment, which the assigning of spectrum for 3G licenses will be based on.

The plan reallocates the following frequency spectrum:

a. 1920 MHz to 1965 MHz

b. 2110 MHz to 2155 MHz

c. 2010 MHz to 2025 MHz

The Market plan also proposed the process of assignment of spectrum, based on the "beauty contest" method. The comments made will be incorporated into the Applicant Information Package, which will be issued no later than 28th February 2002.
