Delphi announces Base Transceiver System for 3Gdate: February 18, 2002 Delphi creates highly optimized Base Transceiver Systems (BTS) for 2.5G and 3G based on the ADI TigerSHARC Delphi Communication Systems, the leader in Software Radio Solutions today announced their DSP-based UMTS PHYsical Layer for 3G Base Stations, and their EDGE PHYsical layer for 2.5G applications. POWERFUL HARDWARE PLATFORM Delphi's UMTS Development Platform is now available for Base Station software demonstration and development. The two-board set supports code demonstration and includes the RF interface.
