China 3G Innovation Summit Forum 2006 to be held in Beijing

February 13, 2006

The forum, with the themes ''3G Innovation and SP Transformation'' and ''3G Innovation and Investment Opportunities,'' will focus on the following topics: relation between the regulatory system and 3G innovation in China, users' expectation for 3G innovation, industrial environment needed for 3G innovation, preparations made by the players in the 3G industrial chain and how operators should drive 3G innovation. 3G innovation practices of Chinese SP/CP, technology solutions for 3G innovation and 3G innovation cases of overseas carriers will also be discussed at the forum.

After speculation about China's 3G mobile networks industry for many years, 3G will finally be launched in China in 2006. According to Analysys International's research findings, China's 3G users will reach 100 million by 2010, which suggests a huge market potential. Under the background of 3G initiation in 2006, the introduction of new technology and solutions will become an important driving force of 3G commercial applications in China, which will accelerate constant innovations of business models as well as the reconstruction of the 3G industrial structure.

China 3G Innovation Summit Forum will provide a perfect platform for delegates from various sectors in the 3G community including the operators, equipment makers, SP/AP/CPs, finance and investment institutions, and government agencies to share their viewpoints on China's 3G development.
