Taiwan auction 31 percent up from floor pricedate: January 30, 2002 Bids for the five third-generation mobile licenses being auctioned in Taiwan reached NT$43.938 billion (US$1=NT$34.985) Wednesday, the 13th day of the auction. That compared with NT$43.02 billion Tuesday and represented a 31% up over the aggregate floor price of NT$33.6 billion, the Directorate General of Telecommunications under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications said in a statement.
