NetHawk releases powerful 3G protocol analyser
January 13, 2004
NetHawk has launched a new powerful protocol analyser for UMTS monitoring.
This new SW is capable of monitoring in real-time all the protocols at
the Iub, Iu-CS, Iu-PS, Iu-BC, Iur, Nb, Nc, Mc, Gn, Gp, Gi, HSL and A.
The NetHawk 3G Analyser provides a capture mode feature for full STM-1
capture when high performance monitoring is needed.
The new user interface of NetHawk 3G Analyser enables efficient real-time
trouble-shooting with the most advanced Iu-PS and Iu-CS Call Trace feature.
The Call Trace feature will be enhanced to cover Iub and Iur in the next
releases. The new UI provides also a Single-Line-Decoding with an excellent
overall view as messages are shown in single rows and several messages
can be seen at once.
To ease the NodeB testing and shorten the time required for configuration
and problem solving, the NetHawk 3G Analyser supports the auto-configurability
for Iub-monitoring.
The unique scalability from one or two interface solutions for laptop
usage up to multi-interface monitoring solutions for desktop or industrial
PC usage provides the users with cost efficient solutions for every monitoring
task.
“In this new SW package we have focused on the main customer requirements:
Simple, but detailed view, easy troubleshooting, high monitoring performance
and cost efficiency through scalability”, says Hannu Huttunen, the CEO
of NetHawk Group. “NetHawk is already a recommended supplier for several
global market leaders for mobile networks and we believe that with this
package we can strengthen our leading position in the protocol test equipment
market”.
