3 signs agreement with Netsize for premium messaging services

3UK and Netsize, a mobile data solutions provider, have signed an agreement that will enable 3's UK customers to access a range of content services via shortcodes managed by Netsize. Text, ringtunes, wallpapers and pictures from a range of brands will be available to over 2.5 million video mobile customers in the UK.

Netsize has a proven track record in helping mobile network operators to deliver innovative services and enabling global brands to use mobile as an essential element of their customer communications strategy.

Graeme Oxby, Marketing Director 3 UK said 3 is the fastest-growing operator in the UK and at the end of 2004 had over 2.5 million customers.

"Our agreement with Netsize will open up even more exciting services to 3's customers," he added.

Paul Naldrett, UK country manager, Netsize commented: "the opportunity to launch new services on 3's network in the UK will add significant value for both Netsize and our customers. Enabling innovation has always been the cornerstone of Netsize's offering, supporting our clients to offer progressive services to their customers. "
