LG Electronics chooses magic4 in EMS partnership

magic4 announces a global partnership with LG Electronics, Inc. to incorporate its Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS) client into the range of CDMA and 3G handsets manufactured by LG Electronics.

To be assured of the latest messaging technology, LGE selected magic4, instrumental in defining EMS release 5 standards, to integrate its EMS client software onto the handsets.

With the 2002 Football World Cup already underway in Korea and Japan, LGE expects a rise in handsets sales and the use of messaging throughout the summer.
