Telecom NZ links with Korean firm

Telecom New Zealand's mobile unit has signed a deal with LG Telecom to work more closely to develop new cdma2000 1x services. Telecom is expected to launch 1x later this month.

The partnership is to concentrate on content for the service. Telecom's Chief Technology Officer Murray Milner said: "LG has developed a wide range of entertainment services and valuable content, using developers. We're keen to see how we can work together to provide some of these services for our customers."
