Ericsson has chosen about 15 applications that will be delivered to 40 operators for use in demonstrations and training during their initial WCDMA roll-outs. The first applications were sent out in February and the deliveries will continue until September. The applications have been developed both by Ericsson and third-party application developers.

- Microsoft NetMeeting Application
NetMeeting lets you talk to another user, face-to-face over WCDMA in real-time. This can also be combined with data conferencing.

- Wireless VideoTelephony
Wireless VideoTelephony from Emblaze Systems enables two-way, real-time audio and video communication.

- Blå Coordinator
Blå Coordinator is a workforce management application offering users easy dispatching, including work orders, scheduling, supervising and reporting in real time.
