3UK appoints new CFO

July 13, 2004

3, the UK's first video mobile network, announced that it has appointed Andrew Moffat as Chief Financial Officer.

Andrew, 48, joins from a sister company, 3 Italy, where he was Chief Financial Controlling Officer from January 2003. He replaces Tim Pennington who has joined Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited based in Hong Kong.

As Chief Financial Officer, Andrew will report to Bob Fuller, CEO and will be responsible for financial planning, accounting, internal audit, procurement and legal matters.

Prior to 3 Italy, Andrew was at Orange for seven years where he held a number of roles, including Orange Group Financial Controller and Orange UK Director of Strategy. Before joining Orange, Andrew was the Finance Manager at Hutchison Cellular Services.

Bob Fuller, CEO 3 UK said: "I'm pleased that someone of Andrew's experience is joining the management team of 3 UK at this important stage in our development."

Andrew Moffat, CFO, 3 UK said: "I'm pleased to be joining 3 at this exciting time.
