SUNDAY announces commercial 3G launch

SUNDAY Communications announced the commercial launch of its 3G network. To kick off its 3G product rollout, SUNDAY launched Hong Kong's fastest wireless pass data card only on SUNDAY 3G network, providing business customers Internet access and data transfer on the SUNDAY 3G network at higher speeds than ever before.

"The commercial launch of the SUNDAY 3G network is a significant milestone for SUNDAY and Huawei," said Bruce Hicks, Group Managing Director, SUNDAY Communications. "Our first 3G product - SUNDAY 3G Wireless Pass Data Card - delivers amazing speed and access to the Internet and data transmission to people on the run through their laptop computers. This is just the beginning of how SUNDAY 3G will enhance people's lives by unlocking the potential of the technology to deliver more fun and more convenient access to services."

The SUNDAY 3G Wireless Pass Data Card offers two monthly service plans: HK$118 for 10 MB and HK$398 for 60 MB, with thereafter charges of $0.01 per KB. The data card is priced at HK$4,380. The data card is available at a special price of HK$3,680 with subscription of the HK$398 plan for 12 months. The product is available on June 12 in SUNDAY shops.

Customers who subscribe to the SUNDAY 3G Wireless Pass Data Card during the promotional period between June 12 and June 30 at any SUNDAY shop or at the SUNDAY roadshow located at the Canada Day celebration in Lan Kwai Fong, will be eligible to enter a lucky draw for a chance to win the latest sport motorbike Kawasaki Z750 valued at HK$75,000.
