H3G Selects MIND CTI to Bill 3G Services

H3G, the first multimedia mobile operator in Italy, and MIND CTI Ltd., a developer and worldwide provider of billing and customer care, announced the signing of a multi-year contract for the delivery of MIND's solution for 3G mobile services in Italy.

The MIND-iPhonEX solution for H3G is an integral part of the SES -- Services Enabler System -- one of the critical components within the H3G network.

MIND-iPhonEX enables diverse content services for prepaid and post-paid subscribers and provides real-time AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Accounting). In particular, for prepaid subscribers the risk of balance overrun is eliminated, even when the services are used simultaneously.

MIND-iPhonEX is fully integrated with the best-of-breed components in H3G's network, interfacing in real-time with the IP network elements and content servers on one hand, and with the back-office (OSS/MIS) applications, such as legacy billing, monitoring and fraud systems on the other hand.
