Fujitsu Licenses PacketVideo Mobilemedia Software for 3G Mobile Phones

date: June 19, 2002

PacketVideo Japan Co. announced that the company has entered into a license agreement with Fujitsu to integrate PacketVideo's mobilemedia playback technology into Fujitsu 3G mobile phones, currently under development.

Based on the agreement, Fujitsu will integrate PacketVideo's pvPlayer 3G multimedia decoding software into its 3G mobile phones to provide users with compelling multimedia applications leveraging high quality visual images and sound through the 3G network.

"PacketVideo's cutting-edge mobilemedia technology enables us to provide advanced wireless multimedia solution to our customers."
