Radio Frequency Investigation invests in Japan for Bluetooth and 3G
June 5, 2003
Radio Frequency Investigation (RFI) has become a shareholder in RFI Japan
as part of its commitment to the development of Bluetooth and 3G products
and services in Asia.
For the past year, engineers from RFI have been supporting customers
in Japan working with ORIX Rentec Corporation (ORC), providing laboratory
support, training, project management and sales support for the roll out
ORC's wireless conformance services including Bluetooth and SAR testing.
More recently RFI secured an important validation contract with Anritsu
for its 3G products.
RFI's managing director, Stephen Kirk is keen to build on existing relationships
with Japanese customers such as ORIX Rentec Corporation and Anritsu. He
commented, "The Japanese market is one of the largest for Bluetooth and
3G development. It is an exciting market and one that RFI considers very
important. We are committed to supporting customers with our expertise
in Bluetooth and SAR testing and training, and in the provision of 3G
validation services. Our decision to invest is a demonstration of our
long term commitment to the Asian market place".
