Successfully tests of UMTS fixed cellular terminal in Europe

TOPEX Romania announces the result of the first tests performed with VOXELL on the Europe s 3G networks. The world's first UMTS Fixed Cellular Terminal, product of TOPEX Romania, was successfully tested on the following networks and countries: H3G, Vodafone, TIM (Italy), KPN (Netherlands), Movistar (Spain). Tests demonstrated that the equipment ensures perfect voice quality and fast data transfer, up to the maximum speed allowed by the network.

VOXEL includes all the features of a standard Fixed Cellular Terminal and allows enterprises to take advantage of the full communications potential of the UMTS networks and to benefit from the fast data transmission and relieved network. This equipment permit any company to considerably cut down the costs of fixed-to-mobile and mobile-to-fixed calls. It is also a perfect solution for remote sites not having land lines. They are simple-to-install equipment, friendly to use, request minimum effort for maintenance and ensures an excellent quality of the voice signal.
