3G FOMA subscribers surpasses 2G mova

June 20, 2006

NTT DoCoMo announced that DoCoMo's 3G FOMA service surpassed the 2G mova service in number of subscribers on June 18.

Launched in October 2001, the service has grown due to its rich lineup of content, high-speed broadband capability, high-quality voice/video, wide range of handsets, attractive billing and discount plans, and extensive coverage.
