Nokia To Supply 3G Radio Access Networks to T-Mobile International in Europedate: March 12, 2002 T-Mobile International has chosen Nokia as a major network infrastructure supplier for its 3G WCDMA network. Deliveries based on the first phase of the frame agreement will start in the near future. "The selection of Nokia is a another major step towards our European 3G WCDMA network," said Hamid Akhavan, European CTO of T-Mobile International. "We are looking forward to working with strong partners like Nokia in building the foundation for attractive and innovative 3G services for our customers."
