Unity Wireless Targets European 3G Marketsdate: March 16, 2002 Unity Wireless Corporation is pleased to announce recent orders from two European-based customers for RF power amplifiers to be used in 3G W-CDMA applications, scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter 2002. Gaining entry into the European wireless market is in line with Unity Wireless Corporation's business strategy for 2002. "The relationships we have built with distributors and sales agents within the European Community has provided our senior executive and engineering personnel with the opportunity to meet several potential customers across Western and Central Europe," commented Unity Wireless Corporation's Vice President of Sales, Chris Neumann. "We were able to demonstrate the performance and capabilities of our current 3G amplifier lines and to solicit orders for specialized product development which is anticipated to demonstrate our ability to meet the individual needs of European wireless network equipment vendors." "We believe that these recent European orders represent a vote of confidence in our 3G product line and will affirm that our products are capable of meeting the stringent European standards for 3G wireless networks," commented Ilan Kenig, President of Unity Wireless Corporation.
