Anritsu sets the pace towards 3G Mobile availability

During the GCF (Global Certification Forum) meeting held in London
on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th March, Anritsu Corporation became
the first company to obtain approval for 3GPP RF Test Cases as defined
in the 3GPP Terminal Conformance Specification. In addition, Anritsu
received GCF approval for an industry leading thirteen 3GPP Protocol
Conformance Test Cases utilizing the TTCN developed by the 3GPP
Terminals working group, TSG T1.
"The importance of obtaining GCF approvals on both RF and Protocol
test cases are crucial for the 3G industry," states Paul Hunter,
European Managing Director with Anritsu Ltd.
"These approvals demonstrate Anritsu's leading position in 3G conformance
testing as well as its total commitment to the TSG T1 process,"
added Paul Hunter.
Anritsu's 3GPP test case validation program leads the industry
in having the only GCF approved 3GPP TS 34.121 RF test cases. Furthermore,
with the growing number of verified protocol test cases from the
3GPP Terminals working Group, TSG T1, Anritsu will continually perform
the validation work to obtain GCF approval of Protocol and RF test
cases.
For 3GPP RF conformance testing, the validated TS 34.121 test cases
are available for use with the ME7873A W-CDMA TRX/Performance Test
System. In addition, for 3GPP Protocol Conformance testing, the
validated TS 34.123 part 3 test cases are available for use with
the MX785201A W-CDMA Protocol Test System.
