Samsung announce video telephony enabled 3G SGH-Z105 handset

Samsung Electronics introduces the SGH-Z105, a dazzling 3G handset that offers incredible functionality, impressive design and the latest technology.

The SGH-Z105 is a clamshell-type 3G UMTS phone that supports seamless communication across the globe and from a GSM/GPRS-based network environment to a WCDMA-based network environment. It offers a more compact and streamlined design.

The Samsung SGH-Z105 mobile phone has a built-in, rotating digital camera, a high-quality TFT colour screen that displays 262,144 different colours and 40 polyphonic ring tones. Capable of realtime video telephony, as well as video on demand, the SGH-Z105 is a perfect example of Samsung's innovation in digital convergence technology.

Samsung has plans to work with major European operators in the 3G market that will provide a commercial service in 2004. Samsung is confident that its 3G handsets will provide deliver the desired results this year.
