Samsung unveil 3 megapixel 3G camera phone

Samsung unveils the newest 3G mobile phones at Cebit. Samsung shows a uniquely designed 3 megapixel camera phone, the SGH-Z700, the world's smallest 3G phone, the SGH-Z500, and SGH-Z300 with audio enhancements to maximize the 3G experience.

SGH-Z700

Samsung's SGH-Z700 mobile phone has a unique twist-LCD design and is the world's first 3 megapixel camera phone in UMTS. Offering full 3G features including video telephony, video streaming and video messaging, the SGH-Z700 enables users to twist the LCD and take pictures, just like with a real digital camera.

The 3 megapixel camera comes with 8 x digital zoom and supports MPEG4, H.263, Real. The main LCD is QVGA and 260K TFT LCD, providing a vivid display that supports 3D graphic and games

In addition to the camera, the SGH-Z700 features a range of specifications including dual-speaker, digital power amp stereo sound, 3D sound, 64 polyphonic ringtones, MP3, AAC, and AAC+. The handset also provides users with powerful connectivity and data-related capability, including Bluetooth, IrDA, USB and external memory. Users also have the option to use PictBridge and Bluetooth printing, which the SGH-Z700 supports.

Packaging the latest mobile technology in a compact size, Samsung Electronics introduces the SGH-Z500, the world's smallest 3G mobile phone (89 x 44 x 24.5mm).

This handset offers user-friendly 3G features, including video telephony, real-time video streaming and video messaging.

With a sleek and polished design, the SGH-Z500 incorporates music functionality with digital power amp, 64 polyphonic ringtones, and MP3 / AAC / AAC+ player.

This is a great mobile device for anyone who wants all the benefits of 3G services with full features such as a powerful megapixel camera and various connectivity via Bluetooth, IrDA and USB, but wants the perfect handheld size and intenna platform of a 2.5G-like handset.

SGH-Z300

Samsung's SGH-Z300 is a classically designed, clamshell handset with a range of music, camera and video features.
