Syllage chooses Netcentrex to develop interactive mobile services

March 6, 2006

Netcentrex and Syllage announce that Syllage has chosen the MyCall Media solution to develop interactive mobile video services that extend the benefits of traditional IVR (Interactive Voice Response) with video menus and video communication.

IVR has been used by operators for a long time to provide various lucrative services. Interactive video keeps the key features that have made the success of IVR (short numbers, self-service approach, telephony billing), and adds benefits such as user-friendly video menus, real-time person-to-person live video connectivity and content delivery, perfectly in tune with evolving consumer trends.

Syllage has been successfully developing and hosting voice applications such as dating, chat and gaming for 8 years. The collaboration with Netcentrex enables Syllage to enter a market with huge development perspectives and to offer new interactive mobile video services such as dating with live person-to-person connections, video conferencing, video blogs, information portals, and video mail.

"Last year we decided to leverage our expertise in IVR applications and prepare for increased market demand by developing a 3G video IVR offering. Netcentrex' experience in IVR, combined with MyCall Media's wide range of functionalities, a development environment and application building blocks, were key factors in our collaboration with the company," states Jose Esteves, Syllage CEO. "Interactive mobile video services will benefit from rapid subscriber uptake, a trend already confirmed by the number of connections recorded by one of our customers. In the first week following the service launch, the number of connections to the customer was over four times our initial estimate."

"MyCall Media brings the full range of key success factors to Syllage's services, including an intuitive user interface, integration with existing telephony billing, independence from handsets and availability across different networks," comments Fabio Ferrari, Director of Media Services at Netcentrex.
