Motorola delivers the power of 3G with E1070 handset

March 27, 2006

Motorola unveiled its latest 3G handset, the Motorola E1070. Specially designed to deliver the power of 3G technology, the Motorola E1070 offers extraordinary entertainment, communications and versatility.

The Motorola E1070 flip phone extends Motorola's thin and round design language to a handset that brings broadband-like connections to your palm - delivering rapid downloads, audio and video streaming and more. Its dual camera and QVGA screen allows you to enjoy two-way video calling and be connected face-to-face - no matter what the distance.

The 1.3 megapixel camera and the capacity to record videos of up to one hour in length lets you capture and store every mobile memory with the Motorola E1070. You then can share your pictures with ease via Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). You can also enjoy the video through the large, high resolution 240 x 320 262K enhanced-color TFT display.

Music lovers will also appreciate the MP3 player and music playlist included in the Motorola E1070, as well as the phone's support for Bluetooth stereo headsets.

The handset also provides ample options to store all of your favorite songs, photos, games, and video clips, with an impressive 64 MB of internal memory and up to 1GB on a hot exchangeable MicroSD memory card.

And for the traveller in you, the Motorola E1070 supports WCDMA and triband GSM to provide wider roaming coverage including Japan.

"With 3G technology, the Motorola E1070 is the device to keep you entertained and connected, day and night," said Cedric So, general manager of Mobile Devices Business, Motorola Hong Kong. "Motorola will continue to lead the charge to bring you 3G, enriching your 3G experience by delivering high quality and innovative handsets that offer compelling, easy to use functionality."

Pricing and Availability

The Motorola E1070 is available at PCCW retail stores and Motorola authorized retailers.
