Saudi's Mobily launches CNN channel

March 12, 2007

TV channel CNN International can now be watched live on 3G mobile phones in Saudi Arabia through an agreement with Mobily, a Saudi telecomms company.

According to the company the agreement marks the first time that CNN has been made available live on mobile phones in the Middle East through the 3G network and makes CNN the first international TV channel to be available to mobile users in Saudi Arabia.
