Korean handset makers to Attack Russian Market

Korean major handset makers will penetrate into Russian market with the participation of SVIZ/Expo Comm Moscow 2004 held in Moscow, Russia between May 11 and May 16.

Samsung Electronics plan to introduce diverse products including GSM mega-pixel camera phone(model name: SGH-P730) and slide-type camera phone(model name: SGH-D410). 2 mega-pixel high-resolution camera phone(model name: SPH-V4400) and handset for women(model name: SGH-P730) that is the upgraded product of popular SGH-D410 model will also be introduced.

LG Electronics will introduce the advanced products including PDA phone and GSM.GPRS/WCDMA dual-band handset(model name: LG-U8150) embedded with 2.2' 260,000 color TFT-LCD and 3 mega-pixel VGA camera.

Pantech will launch 11 premium GSM handsets including fingerprint-recognition handset and Bluetooth handset. Additionally, 2 mega-pixel camera phone, 1.3 mega-pixel camcorder phone supporting up to 4 hours and 50 minutes video filming, 300,000 pixel dicaphone will be introduced. CDMA450 handset and WLL(wireless local loop) devices guaranteeing the communication in remote areas will be also introduced.
