Anadigics Receives Production Orders From Two Korean CDMA Wireless Manufacturersdate: November 29, 2001 Anadigics, Inc., a supplier of wireless and broadband communications solutions, today announced that the Company has received production orders for InGaP HBT power amplifier modules from two Korean-based manufacturers. The Company's recently announced AWT6109, which is designed specifically for Korean CDMA systems, and the AWT6106 CDMA power amplifier for CDMA2000 systems have been selected for use in new wireless modem cards and wireless handsets scheduled for Korean and US market introduction in 2002. Anadigics InGaP HBT technology enables handset manufacturers to produce handsets with optimal power efficiency resulting in longer talk time/standby time. Compliant with IS95/98 and 1XRTT CDMA system data standards, the Company's power amplifier modules exhibit excellent linearity, reliability, and stability over temperature making them an obvious choice for manufacturers of next-generation handsets. "Our CDMA chipsets offer customers higher performance and better reliability over competitive solutions for CDMA 2000 and 1XRTT capable handsets," continued Dr. Bastani, President and CEO of Anadigics, Inc. "The Korean market has set the pace for advanced implementation of 1XRTT and CDMA 2000 handsets."
