Hutchison 3G confirms termination with TTI
November 18, 2002
Three of UK, Hutchison 3G, announced on Friday it cancelled a contract
with network management systems supplier Team Telecom International
(TTI), but emphasised the decision would not affect its service
launch plans.
Edward Brewster, spokesman for Three, "This doesn't affect the
rollout."
Three are still hopes to have paying customers by the end of the
year, but it would depend on whether the services would be ready
in time.
TTI said on Thursday that it has received a letter of termination
from one of its major customers, but did not disclose the name of
the company. The firm will decide on the appropriate actions to
take after it has consulted with its operational professionals and
legal advisors over claims made by the customer.
