Axesstel demonstrates LAN over 1xEV-DO

November 16, 2004

Axesstel - a designer, developer and marketer of CDMA-based fixed wireless voice and data products for the telecommunications market - announced that it is joining forces with Airvana - a provider of All-IP, 3G CDMA2000 1xEV-DO infrastructure, to demonstrate live LAN backhaul over 1xEV-DO at the 3G World Congress in Hong Kong. The 3G World Congress is the premier conference and exhibition for emerging 3G wireless technologies and is being held at the Hong Kong Conference and Exhibition Center from November 15, 2004, through November 19, 2004. Axesstel and Airvana will also provide conference attendees with the opportunity to experience VoIP and Broadband Internet access over 1xEV-DO first-hand at the Internet Cafe located in Airvana's booth (#1007).

The demonstrations will highlight the benefits of Axesstel's AXW-D800, an Ethernet-based 1xEV-DO fixed wireless broadband modem, together with Airvana's 100% IP-Enabled infrastructure in delivering high-speed wireless data services to mobile professionals, VoIP subscribers, residential broadband users and consumers of multimedia information and entertainment.

"We are excited about giving our customers the opportunity to experience our innovative product in a live environment," said Lixin Cheng, President of Axesstel Wireless Group. "Our mission at Axesstel is to deliver next-generation products that bridge the digital divide and offer 1xEV-DO operators the ability to provide a level of broadband data service that their competitors simply cannot match."
