DoCoMo announces launch date for SH901iC 3G handset

NTT DoCoMo announced they will start selling the Sharp SH901iC 3G FOMA handset, unveiled on November 17, through DoCoMo sales channels nationwide on December 1, 2004.
The handset was planned to be launched on November 26, 2004.
DoCoMo did not specify a reason for the delay.
FOMA, the brand name for DoCoMo's 3G service was launched in 2001 and was the world's first 3G mobile service based on W-CDMA.
