NextMode Enables Wireless Carriers to Provide 3G DoCoMo i-mode Rich Media Features

date: October 30, 2001

MobileSoft, a content and digital asset management technology company dedicated to high personalization and mobile delivery of rich media content, announced today that it has launched the latest "killer app" which enables wireless carriers to immediately offer future-generation services over their interim 2.5G networks with many of the rich media features now present through NTT DoCoMo i-mode 3G. Through MobileSoft NextMode, application wireless carriers will now be able to add additional functionality and features to existing networks without the necessity of the 3G networks.

- Streams or stores any library of music, audio, video, ringtones, apps, images, & more.
- Exceptional personalization (no other provider or carrier is even in the ballpark).
- Rich media content management system which integrates with your existing billing system to provide a flexible infrastructure to easily manage your many content partners (few of which understand unique carrier needs). Integrate once instead of many.
- Carrier-grade plus J2ME, BREW, WinCE, and Symbian compatibility of course.

"The NextMode system is fast, easy to set up, can be scaled to a gargantuan size, and is the most personalized service wireless carriers can offer to their customers," states Michael F. Price, CEO of MobileSoft. "Through our NextMode technology, carriers can now provide next-generation i-mode 3G rich media features to any wireless subscriber with their current networks."
