Macrospace games go 3G with 3

October 14, 2004

Macrospace, the provider of mobile games and mobile gaming services, announced the availability of its mobile games from the 3UK. 3 has added several of the most popular Marcospace games to its range of products and services

Five Macrospace Java games are initially available to 3's 1.2 million customers in the UK. These include shoot-em' up action with Alpha Wing, epic adventure and strategy with Ancient Empires, fast arcade racing fun with Crash 'N' Burn, platform action in Dragon Island, and mobile soccer perfection with Soccer Unlimited. In adapting these games to 3G handsets, Macrospace has customised the game code for the higher resolution screens and different handset hardware to ensure users get the best game experience possible.

"This launch is great news for the growing number of users who are looking for exciting, quality entertainment for their mobiles. With the addition of Macrospace games, '3' customers can now play some of the most popular mobile games on the market today," said Stephan Ansari, Head of Business Development at Macrospace.

Graeme Oxby, Marketing Director, 3 UK commented: "Gaming is an important part of our consumer offering and this agreement with Macrospace means 3 can bring even more choice to our customers."
