2004 International TD-SCDMA Summit

"2004 International TD-SCDMA Summit" will be held from December 14, 2004 to December 15, 2005 at Beijing New Century Hotel in Beijing. The summit is approved by Ministry of Information Industry( MII ), hosted by TD-SCDMA forum and TD-SCDMA industry alliance, and assisted by China Academy of Telecommunication Technology. High level leaders from Chinese governmental departments such as National Development and Reform Commission, MII, Ministry of Science and Technology will attend the summit and make important speeches on China's 3G development strategy. At the same time, hundreds of delegates from global telecom operators, telecom vendors, investment companies, research institutes, and international organizations will communicate and discuss hot topics about TD-SCDMA at present, demonstrate the R&D achievement, share the development experience, explore future development strategy, and promote the healthy grow-up of China's 3G and TD-SCDMA industry.
At present, TD-SCDMA industry chain has been founded and in the process of enlargement. The commercialization speed of TD-SCDMA becomes faster obviously. The bottleneck of chips and terminals has been broken through. The field test of TD-SCDMA is advancing smoothly. In addition, foreign telecom organizations, telecom operators, telecom vendors and finance investment institutions are paying more attentions to TD-SCDMA. More and more international telecom companies have joined TD-SCDMA industry camp and increased their investment in the R&D of TD-SCDMA technology. TD-SCDMA has become the focus of global telecom industry and TD-SCDMA industry has entered a key period of development.
In order to cooperate the development progress of TD-SCDMA industry, "2004 International TD-SCDMA Summit" defines the main theme to be "The Outstanding 3G Standard, The Global TD-SCDMA. Promoting the Commercialization Process of TD-SCDMA Comprehensively". During the summit, delegates will give in-depth analysis to topics such as advantages of TD-SCDMA technology and its operation, the TD-SCDMA R&D progress, TD-SCDMA field trial, TD-SCDMA special application, TD-SCDMA business operation, TD-SCDMA industry policy, and TD-SCDMA industry financing, etc. The multiple forms of the summit include convention, round table conference of high level delegates from government and industry, dialogue among industrial chain, and exposition with the purpose to provide an all-round and multi-level channel of communication for all delegates.
As the host of the summit, TD-SCDMA forum and TD-SCDMA industry alliance will satisfy the requirements of industry's information from all participants by multiple conference forms, high-level communication channel and careful summit organization and arrangement.
