Axesstel modem expands Hamilton's 1xEV-DO wireless broadband in Nebraska

October 20, 2005

Axesstel announced that Hamilton Telecommunications, a premier provider of high speed and dial up Internet services in Nebraska, has purchased Axesstel's AXW-D1900 Wireless Broadband Modem. Hamilton has begun offering high-speed data services over their CDMA2000 1xEV-DO network with Axesstel's D1900 modem to consumers, small businesses and vertical markets through www.hamilton.net and other distribution channels.

"The Axesstel wireless broadband modem is quick and easy to install and use. It will allow us to expand the geographical footprint of our 3G CDMA 1xEV-DO wireless Internet service," said Dan Molliconi, vice president and manager of Internet services for Hamilton Telecommunications.

Hamilton is the only 3G provider in the markets they serve. Axesstel's D1900 modem combined with Hamilton's CDMA2000 1xEV-DO service provides a superior high-speed solution to customers who have few or no high-speed communication alternatives. Customers can also network multiple computers for broadband access throughout the home or office.

"Our first-to-market EV-DO fixed wireless modem has allowed us to enter the North American market and increase our market penetration in regions we currently serve," said Mike Kwon, chairman and CEO for Axesstel. "We welcome Hamilton as one of our first North American customers and look forward to working with them to provide their clients with a superior broadband service option."
