Elektrobit announced that the development of the 3G S60 on Symbian reference smartphone is proceeding as planned. Elektrobit demonstrates a prototype at the Symbian Smartphoneshow. "We are happy to demonstrate a prototype at the Symbian Smartphoneshow in London." says Arto Pietilä, Excecutive Vice President of Elektrobit. "Our reference phone will accelerate the time-to-market of new S60 phones and will give good possibilities to grow the S60 community. We have already signed our first Memorandum of Understanding for a full delivery of a smartphone via our ODPM business model, which shows that there is confidence in our development."
