Powerwave announces deliveries of 1900 MHz W-CDMA product for Nortel Networks

Powerwave Technologies announced initial deliveries of its proprietary
designed 1900 MHz W-CDMA RF power amplifiers to Nortel Networks during
Powerwave's current third quarter. This RF power amplifier product is
utilized in Nortel Networks W-CDMA base station, and is one of sixteen
products currently supplied by Powerwave to Nortel Networks.
"We are excited to announce deliveries of this custom designed 3G product
to Nortel Networks," stated Bruce C. Edwards, president and chief executive
officer of Powerwave Technologies. "Powerwave is proud to be a supplier
of this RF power amplifier product to Nortel Networks and we continue
to supply Nortel Networks with a full range of amplifier products covering
GSM, CDMA, TDMA and W- CDMA protocols in the cellular, PCS and 2100 MHz
frequency ranges."
