Chunghwa Telecom adopts DNA 3G test tool
September 20, 2004
Dilithium Networks, a provider of wireless multimedia solutions,
announced that Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), the telecommunications operator
in Taiwan, has purchased the Dilithium Networks Analyzer (DNA),
the 3G protocol analysis and test tool.
The DNA will be used for interoperability testing and standards compliance with equipment manufacturers. DNA enables 3G operators and network equipment vendors to identify and address service issues which are critical to providing a high quality user experience and successful uptake of video telephony.
"Chunghwa Telecom is one of the most experienced and largest integrated telecommunication operators in Taiwan and their adoption of the DNA testifies to its reliability, ease of use and best in class functionality," said Dennis Zhang, Sales Director Dilithium Networks, Asia Pacific. "We are delighted to be working alongside CHT as they develop their 3G video-telephony service, and introduce innovative new business and consumer services to the Asian market."
