SFR grabs 300,000 french 3G users

French mobile operator SFR, a subsidiary of Vivendi Universal, has reported that it had over 300,000 3G clients by the end of last month. The company is confident that it will now hit its own target of 500,000 customers by the end of this year.

The operator has to attain coverage of at least 58% of the French population by the end of December 2005, it now says that it is confident that it will offer 60% coverage by that date.
